To Those Who Have Fallen

A Poem for Those Lost in the Tragic Events of Sept. 11, 2001

To those who have fallen and served our country well
Unbenounced to you was a final farewell
You wake every morning and never wonder why
Evil hasn't met you to force a final goodbye
This action will not be forgotten nor will those lives who were lost
Our God Almighty has chosen you - what a tragic cost
So we say our prayers and hope you sleep softly
Our American brothers and sisters... You, will never be forgotten.
