In memory of "Sparky" lost on Alaska Airlines 261, January 31, 2000

February 12, 2000

I am sending this letter to all the families that lost loved ones on flight 261,especially to Sparky's (Ryan Sparks) mom, I know you already know that your son was a very special person but I want you to know Sparky was a very special person in my families eyes too, he was like one of the kids, like he had always been around our famiy forever, when I met Sparky I use to tease him right along with my little brother Mike, I would give them two a hard time and it never bothered them but boy you tease Mike when Sparky wasn't around and you had world war two on your hands (hahahhahhaha). I guess what I'm trying to say is I think Mike and Sparky were really good for one another he made Mike grow up alot when he was around and I think Mike had somewhat the same effect on him, of course boys will be boys but they were real good for one another......From our whole family I want you to know that Sparky will always have a special place in our hearts and our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
