About the Event

More than just the usual charity golf tournament, typical poker game, or fundraising auction, the Hearts, Clubs & Aces tournament is an annual event that has participants, sponsors, and volunteers alike circling the date on their calendars every year.

This year's Hearts, Clubs & Aces will take place at world-class Harding Park Golf Course in San Francisco, host of the 2009 President's Cup.

The day will include a unique on-course poker game, a cocktail party, silent auction, and dinner with live auction will punctuate this memorable day on the greens. The event lends itself to an old adage -- with a twist: It's not whether you win or lose…but how well you play your cards!

Welcome to Hearts, Clubs & Aces 2009!
Upon arriving at the course golfers will be greeted with hospitality, treated to lunch from the upscale Ozumo Restaurant, and will receive complimentary beverages throughout the day .

Tee it up!
The players will have an exciting experience on the course -- including the chance to win prizes and to play perhaps the most unique hand of poker ever imagined! Of course, the usual hole-in-one, longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting contests will take place too.

The Grand Finale!
Following a long day on the golf course everyone will have the opportunity to unwind with their family and friends, enjoy dinner and drinks, and bid on sensational auction items.

The Format for a day of GOLF & CARDS!

Scramble.

1. This is a point game where a foursome plays as a team against the other four member teams in the tournament

2. Each member of the foursome hits a tee shot and the best drive of the team is selected

3. From the spot of the selected tee shot, each player in the foursome hits their second shot and the best drive of the team is selected from the second shot. The team continues to play from the best drive on each shot to finish out the hole.

4. Each player's individual score is recorded and points are earned as follows:
Par=1, Birdie=2, Eagle=3, Double Eagle=4

5. The individual points are added together to make the team score for the hole.

6. Points earned are based on net scores of each individual player.

The Hearts, Clubs & Aces "Poker" rules are a little different!

1. Each foursome will play one hand
2. Each time a player gets a birdie or an eagle on a hole - the group gets a card
3. The group with the best hand (out of five cards) wins a prize
4. The group with the most cards wins a prize
5. The group with the most Hearts wins a prize
