ACCESS Programs
Grief Mentoring

The greatest need a person has once the initial shock has worn off is the support of others who have experienced a similar loss.

ACCESS gives access to such support through our Volunteer Grief Mentor Program.

The ACCESS Volunteer Grief Mentor Program gives assistance to families and friends by providing a convenient and accessible telephone volunteer network that places survivors in touch with others who have experienced a similar tragic loss.

If you have survived or lost a loved one in an airplane crash and think that you can help others walk through the difficult grief process we would appreciate your help and expertise.

Can you volunteer?

Support Services Guide

Immediately following an air crash there are numerous organizations surrounding the victims providing help and support.

In all the confusion it is not always clear what information can be relied on, what the procedures are, and what the role of each group is.

The Support Services Guide makes all of this very clear, pinpointing the roles of each organization, their purpose, their abilities, and their time schedule.

The Support Services Guide includes listings of appropriate government agencies and other important resources, ACCESS's toll free hotline, and helpful written materials dealing with grief.

Resource Program

The Resource Program ensures that the victims and survivors have access to:
  • Appropriate contacts and telephone numbers in dealing with specific needs related to the plane crash.
  • Literature on the grieving process.
  • Other similar organizations which may be helpful.
